Push Notifications, Marketing, and Communications Policy

1. Policy Purpose

This policy explains the rules governing communications sent via Mazaya, including push alerts, system notifications, emails, and SMS.

1. System notifications. 2. Service alerts. 3. Point updates. 4. Reward redemptions. 5. Inactivity reminders. 6. Marketing campaigns. 7. Birthday greetings. 8. Location-based notifications. 9. Marketing communications.

3. Merchant Responsibility

Merchants are solely responsible for obtaining legal consent (opt-in) from customers before dispatching marketing campaigns, and respecting opt-out requests.

4. Mazaya's Role

Mazaya acts as a B2B SaaS infrastructure provider. We do not generate, review, or control campaign content sent by merchants.

5. System Messages

We send critical system notifications (billing issues, login verifications, security alerts) which are essential and cannot be opted out of.

6. Push Alerts

Push alerts are sent directly to customer smartphone wallets. Customers can manage these alerts via native iOS/Android system settings.

7. Opt-Out Rights

Merchants must provide a clear mechanism for customers to unsubscribe from marketing broadcasts, as required by anti-spam laws.

8. Subprocessors

Messages are delivered using Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

9. Prohibited Conduct

Sending spam, phishing links, illegal promotions, or abusive content is strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension.

10. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated. The latest online version remains binding.
